Organisational Mapping and Job Design

Tool 1: Organisational Mapping and Job Redesign Tool

The Organisational Mapping and Job Redesign Tool offers businesses a structured approach to rethinking their organisational design. It empowers organisations to reshape future roles, aligning them more closely with evolving workforce needs and industry trends.

It considers additional factors above key responsibilities, including personality, SCARF principles and skills and capabilities.

Stage 3

Holistic Talent Matching

In this stage, we tested an innovative approach to talent matching using a private online network. Our goal was to create a more holistic and comprehensive way to match talent with businesses by combining data from both business and talent profiles.

Business Profiles include:

  • Values
  • Role and organisational requirements
  • SCARF principle scores of the role
  • Aligned personality traits
  • Skills
  • Hours required
  • Location

Talent Profiles include:

  • Values
  • Ambitions
  • SCARF principle assessment scores
  • Personality traits
  • Skills
  • Hours available
  • Location

By using this data, we explored the potential to develop a proactive, two-way concordance matching system. This system goes beyond simple job titles, focusing on aligning talent’s capabilities, character, and potential with the needs of businesses. Our aim is to provide fairer, more aligned opportunities for youth or individuals with transferable skills that traditional recruitment methods often overlook.
